Hypothesis
Would visual free association help the mentally challenged people help to learn basic things and would it increase their speed of learning?
 
Discrpition
The objective of this project is to understand how the mentally challenged individuals learn new things, how they relate things in the present environment and to help the individuals learn more about what he/she thinks and feels, in an atmosphere of non-judgmental curiosity and acceptance.
 
This case-study research was carried out to identify functional teaching stages and methods for individuals with moderate mental retardation. It presents a structured and sequenced teaching programme which has analysed the stages needed to remember things easily for them with the use of photograph of their own. The final outcome of this project is a book in which the affected individual can scribble or write in refernce to each image that helps him/her to remember and learn.
